This Agreement is be and between STEVE D. SHOPE and ANNE M. SHOPE d/b/a Legends Three Pine Ranch and Australian Shepherds, LLC (hereinafter singularly or collectively as applicable, Clinician), and

TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT:

 4. This Clinic is to cover the following (mark all that are applicable):

IF HIRING STEVE:

 __ herding instinct (in-house certificate used)
 __ beginning/started  sheep__ cattle__ ducks___
 __ open/advanced  sheep__ cattle__ ducks___
 __ ranch work
 __ trial/competition readiness, __ scoring
 __ problem solving/any level
 __ all levels stockwork/at attendee's choice

OPTIONAL if hiring Anne only (or both Steve & Anne):

__ conformation, __ obedience (nov/opn), __rally, __ structure/gait analysis, __ temperament issues, __ puppy testing & training, __junior handling

5. The host will have an available a dry eraser board and markers for the Clinician.

 6. The Clinician will allow video taping.  If possible, video playback is beneficial and the Clinician would prefer to utilize such.

 7.  The Host will either:
a) Reimburse the mileage for the Clinician in the amount of $.35/mile or a contracted agreeable flat fee. 
b) Make flight arrangements as applicable and coordinate such with the Clinician, including pick up at the airport and transport to hotel or other arranged housing, travel meals as applicable, and transport to the Clinic site.  If airline travel to a Clinic requires the Clinitian to take a day of leave from his job, the Host will pay Clinician $150/day for any vacation day the Clinician is required to take (if half day vacation/then $75.00 fee will be applicable).  There is no charge if Clinician doesn't have to take anytime off work.  Clinician gets off work at 3:30 p.m. for those scheduling flights.

 8. The Clinician,  if driving, may bring one demo dog and will desire that demo dog to be housed with Clinician. All food & housing for the Clinician will be furnished by the Host club; all dog food for the dog will be furnished by Clinician.

 9. The Clinician requires all dogs attending the Clinic to be up to date on all boosters and rabies and protected from fleas and ticks.  The Clinician requires all dogs to be in good health.  A Release holding the Clinician, facility owner, stock provider and sponsoring club harmless shall be required by all attendees, whether participants or auditors, and a copy of the hold harmless agreement shall be provided to Clinician upon arrival to the Host site.  The Clinician does not allow any dog abuse in his Clinic.

 10. The Clinician Steve Shope's daily charge is $550/day for the Clinic with a limitation of twelve dog/handler teams and unlimited auditors.  The Clinician Anne Shope's daily charge is $200/day with a limitation of fifteen dog/handler teams and unlimited auditors.The Clinic audit fee is $25/day (of which $10 goes to the Clinician and $15 to the Club and there is no limit for auditors). 

11. The training manuals and dvds offered by the Clinician can be made available. Stockdog 101 DVD/Manual ($80); Practical Obedience DVD/Manual ($55), How to Choose, Raise & Train a Puppy ($15). Preorders are a must in order to insure sufficient quantity is available.

A $200.00 non refundable deposit is required for the Clinician(s) to calendar this event.  Should the Clinician(s) have to cancel due to illness, injury or death, the deposit is fully refundable.  Should the Host cancel the Clinic, the deposit is not refundable.  No clinic will be calendared until the deposit & contract are received.

 13. Should either the host or the Clinician feel there is a breach of contract, suit shall be brought in the county and state of the Clinician's residence.

Upon signature below, all parties heretofore agree to the above-named terms and conditions.  This Agreement is in full force and effect upon signature by all parties and remittance of the deposit.  This Agreement may not be amended or altered or canceled except in writing and signed by all parties.
